A leading consumer products company based in the West Midlands are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to help out on an ongoing project. This will be a 6 month project with the likelihood of extension.

The Company

Renowned for their consumer product designs for the housing, environment and oil and gas industries, my client prides themselves on their innovative designs and growing customers. They also provide bespoke products, therefore attention to detail is key for this position.

Embedded Software Engineer Position

If successful, you will be joining a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working directly under the Technical Manager and the Lead Software Engineer, while also working alongside two other Software Engineers.

You shall be working on a specific bespoke product for the housing industry where previous knowledge of Embedded Systems is essential. Other requirements include:

–          5+ years’ experience in Embedded C/C++

–          NXP experience

–          FreeRTOS

–          I2C or SPI Interfacing Protocols

–          MCUExpresso IDE Experience

Previous experience working on bespoke consumer devices is also desired but not essential. The business also acknowledges a good general knowledge of engineering and has had at least 5 years’ industry experience.  

In return, you shall receive a competitive hourly rate while expanding your knowledge within a fast-paced and successful environment. The project is expected to last 6 months ideally working onsite, however if there is a standout candidate they are also willing to consider remote working.
