A leading software company in the Leeds area are seeking an ambitious information security manager to lead the development and implementation of their information security and compliance policy, maintaining their compliance with the security frameworks required by their client base. The successful information security manager would take ownership of maintaining the business’ ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials accreditations, implementing security policies and procedures to facilitate compliance as part of their ongoing migration to the cloud.
The ideal information security manager will have experience performing the risk assessments, gap analysis and vulnerability assessments to support accreditations or re-certifications, ideally for ISO27001 or Cyber Essentials frameworks, as well working with the wider business to assist with security assurance. This information security manager position could provide an exciting opportunity to take ownership of implementing information security policy, as well as the certification/accreditation process, allowing an experienced security analyst or engineer to step up into a role with more scope to influence the wider business.
