A well-established financial services organisation, based in Croydon, is looking for a talented Senior Java Developer to work on fascinating greenfield financial services products.

The company

A tightknit and productive organisation who have been innovating in their space over 20 years, this financial services organisation has provided seamless integrations of bleeding-edge products for some of the largest organisations in the world.

They are undergoing a period of sustained growth and need a Senior Java Developer to work on the ever-increasing demand for their products.

The role

You’ll be integrating with the scrum team to design and develop quality Java code for new products and features; you’ll also be working on system architecture and providing technical support for existing products.

As Senior Java Developer, you’ll be mentoring and leading Java Developers, introducing new ideas and pushing the business forward as well as gaining the chance to upskill with training regimes.

The skills they’re looking for:

  • Java 8, J2EE, J2ME,
  • Mobile, Web services
  • Spring, Hibernate, JPA
  • TDD/ BDD, Git
  • REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • CI/CD

If you don’t have every skill on this list but are an experienced Mid/Senior with a good background in Java who’s driven to pick up new technologies, you could still be a great option!

Salaries are paying up to £60,000 for the right experience as well as a generous benefits package. Interviews are taking place remotely initially and are dependent upon individual’s situations.
