A global leader within the Business Intelligence field based in central Reading, Berkshire, are currently recruiting a Software Developer with VB.NET experience to join their software house. This role will offer a potential Software Developer the chance to take ownership of their main product, and move into a more senior role in the future.

The Company

This role will give the potential Software Developer the chance to join a BI house whose industry leading product helps automate manual processes, allowing teams to spend time across other areas of the business, increasing efficiency.  

The Software Developer Duties

The role of the Software Developer will need to have hands on experience working with VB.net. Your duties involve the following:

  • Deliver against product roadmap – Ensure delivery of developments against deadlines are met
  • Ensure all products are developed using the standards laid down
  • Ensure their developments keep pace with available technologies, making recommendations that will enhance sales of products
  • Deal with client queries dealt with within agreed SLAs

The Required Skills For Software Engineer

  • Coding in VB.NET
  • C#
  • SQL Coding – T-SQL
  • Winforms

The salary on offer for this Software Engineer role is between £40,000-£55,000, and they are looking to line up interviews from the 17th February.

The Software Engineer role comes with a very generous package and the salary is dependent on experience.
